The brand-new designer. Tall, strong and proudly geeky, and for now he is the new broom who does everything anybody asks. But every instruction and every lesson is being stored inside him, charging. One day the whole lot detonates at once.
Chris didn't cry when he was born. He listened. The nurses swore he was taking notes.
He grew up tall, strong and endlessly curious. He played every sport, read every manual and watched every tutorial, and he never forgot a single one. His teachers noticed something odd: everything went in, but none of it ever seemed to come back out. It was being stored somewhere.
When he joined X3WEB as the new designer, everybody started telling him what to do. Quentin, Veneesha, Sonja, the whole crew handed him tips, fixes and shortcuts, and Chris listened to all of it and did all of it. Every instruction went straight into the glowing core in his chest.
The core is charging. The meter keeps climbing. People have noticed the lights flicker when he walks past, and his coffee boils without a kettle.
Nobody knows exactly when it hits a hundred percent. But when it does there will be a flash, a shockwave and a knowledge bomb, and the design world will not be the same afterwards. Until then Chris stays humble and says “sure, I'll do that”. It's all fuel.
